Eowyn Funeral Gown
Base

Eowyn Funeral Mantle
Base

Eowyn in her Funeral Gown. I like the shading on the skirt and the belt. The pattern is quite nice too I think, it took a long time to make as it consists of different colours to blend it more with her dress.

The same as the previous one, but with the mantle. I know the left side of it looks weird, but it was like that in the reference picture. I may change it when I've time and no inspiration.

Eowyn Victory Gown
Base

Morwen
Base

Eowyn in her Victory Gown. I really like this dress so I decided to doll it. I love how the hair and the bottom of the dress came out, those are one of my best I think.

A little doll of Morwen. I got inspired after reading The Children of Hurin. I like the bottom of her dress and her belt, of the rest I'm not so sure.

Arwen Chase
Base

Arwen Mourning gown
Base

Arwen in her Chase Outfit. I love her face and the dress. Her inner sleeves aren't good at all, but I think the rest of the outfit makes up for that.

Arwen's Mourning Gown. Gah, the trim almost killed me. I like the bottom of her dress, the rest is so-so.
The version with the veil can be found here. That was my first doll that almost got GIF-eaten. I guess all the colours in the trim were responsible for that.

Arwen Hope Gown
Base

Arwen Angel Gown
Base

Arwen's Hope Gown. I like the cowl neck. The pattern on the sleeves was harder to do than it looks. It consists of different colours to blend it more with the pink.

Arwen's Angel Dress. It was easier to make than I thought it would be. But all that white! It drove me crazy sometimes, I'm not used to shading so much white. This was a remake from an old doll of mine which can be found here. Beware though, it may burn your eyes. It was made one year ago and I think I've improved quite a bit.

Arwen Requiem Dress
Base
Version with cloak

ArwenRoseGown
Base

Arwen's Requiem Outfit. The cloak was a challenge for me. The train of her dress is too high, but I like the texture of it. I used a pattern to acheive the texture.

Arwen's Rose Gown. I have a version of her without the cloak, but it looks like crap so I decided not to put it up. On this version I like her cloak, it turned out better than I expected as I don't have much experience with this kind of clothing.

SpringFling

Baseless

Islander

Base
The tutorial I used as a reference for the waves.

A doll made for the Spring Fling at TG. Actually it's a self portrait, but I thought she fit in more in the fantasy section. It's supposed to be me as the princess of the fairy tale The Cunning Little Tailor. I really like her hair, the colours of her dress and the baselessness, but everything else could have been much better. Despite that, I'm still quite happy with her, especially since I spent hours on her.

The Islander, inspired by the wonderful song by Nightwish. I must say, dolling an old man was fun. However, the end result let me down. I seem to have lost (my already pretty much non-existant) background skills. For the doll itself, I went with the typical 'old sailor look', he even has a pipe. The smoke is supposed to portray children playing in a field, because I remember the song talking about that. That thing in the sky is the moon, I imagined as he was at the end of the world, the moon would be big and seen rising.

Tuomas

It's Tuomas from Nightwish! I love that band ^_^ I got inspired to doll him and the other members of the band after I went to a concert of them (it was fantastic). I love his hair and the face edit, but the rest isn't too special, especially the pants. .

A dress based on a LotR dress I found on this site. It's the first time I did folds like that and I'm quite happy with them. Her hair is my favourite part though, it's probably the best wavy hair I've ever done. I tried to make her look a bit like she's fading or something like that and distant, I used more muted colours than usually and had lots of fun with making the palettes, especially the one for her overdress.

GardenParty
Base

A futuristic girl with a robotic hand. I love her design and the shading. I actually managed to doll pants that don't suck, yay! She's supposed to look a bit 'evil' as she isn't a nice person at all. I think she could be a smuggler or something like that. Anyway, she cares more about herself than about other people.

A doll I made for a garden party challenge at TG. This is what I usually do when I'm in the garden: search plants for my rabbits and chickens, regardless of what I'm wearing. I like her skirt and hair, but the top could have been better. I was pretty uninspired when I made it.

Selfportrait

Base

A formal selfportrait for the New years Eve DUB at TG. I love the palette and bottom of the dress. The hair is also one of my best I think. The dithering on this dress almost drove me crazy, but it turned out great. I wish I owned that dress in real life.

A doll made for a palette contest at Flawed Perfection Pixels (site offline). It was quite difficult to work with someone else's palettes, but it was a nice challenge. I'm not too proud of her, the shading on the overdress could have been much better

The Howling before the battle
The bloody version from after the battle
Base

Guardian of the Stars
Base (site offline)

Before and after the battle. Inspired by The Howling, a song by Within Temptation. That background almost killed me. I especially like the doll from after the battle because of the feeling it gives and I love the hair. The blood was surprisingly easy to pixel. The black thing behind her is a demon named Nirane. The doll from before the batlle is a bit too plain for my taste, but I wanted the whole bodice to be visible.

Guardian of the stars. I love her left sleeve and the top part of her dress. Originally she was made for a layout, but the hair let me down.

Elina
Base

Another attempt at a prep. I don't use such bold colours very often, but I think it turned out quite well. I love her hair, I used less colours than I normally do but I guess that's normal with preps. This was my signature for a while at TG.

A little redhead and an attempt at doing folds on a sitting base. I like the top of the dress and the hair. The little plants in her hair are nice too and the pattern on the red part of the dress was fun to do.

Nera
Base (site offline)

Talyone

Base

Nera, the sister of Neri. Actually they are not really siblings, but were once joined in one being which split itself. She's the one that rules the Neranian world. This is her human form, the things in her hands represent the elements.
This was the first time I ever drew feathered wings and I'm not satisfied with them at all. I still like her design and hair though, so that's why she's still here and not in the archive.

Tal dressed a bit warmer for the upcoming winter and armed with his sister's axe. I don't really like this doll except for the hair, axe and the shading on the top of the cloak.

The following four dolls were all made with the Palace palette I found at Wayuki. It was a challenge to doll with that palette, but it was quite fun to experiment with those colours.

PPP2 Base by AngyChan
Base

The last one in this series and probably my favourite. Based on a costume I once owned. I love the overdress and the blue parts, but the pink underdress is just blah. This is one of the few times I've made ringlettes and I'm far from satisfied with them. Can you tell that I love face edits?

The third one. I don't like her skintone at all, but I love the dress and shoes. Those are a different style than I usually do.

Palace Palette Project
Base

The second one. I like her hair, or at least the bottom of it as I don't do short hair very often. The rest is just blah.

The first one of the Palace palette series and also one of my favourites. I love the blue overdress and the face edit. The folds on the underdress are bad and the hair is certainly not my best, but I like the overall look of her.

Nirane
Base

The first version of Nirane, a not-so-nice earthdemon. I like her skirt, but the background sucks. Her hair is supposed to be resting on a branch of the tree behind her, but it just looks weird.

Arwen
Base

Another version of Talion, this time in semi-formal wear. It doesn't really fit with his style though. I experimented with colours and a lightsource on this one. His hair isn't too bad, but his pants are terrible. I entered him in a contest, which seems will not be ending anytime soon.

Arwen in a gown I designed. She doesn't look like Arwen at all, but I still like her design. I like the beading and the colour combination, but loathe the hair.
